How it works

No experience needed. Pick a beat, hear it, play it. Here are the steps.

1. Pick a beat

Start from hip-hop styles, from boom-bap to trap. Every beat has sub-levels: kick only, kick + hi-hat, up to the full beat — so you can build up gradually.

2. Hear the demo

Hit Demo and the beat plays itself, with the pads lighting up on every hit. You see and hear exactly what you're about to play.

3. Practise with feedback

Switch to Practice and play it yourself. Every hit is scored in real time — perfect, good or miss — based on how close you are to the beat. You can slow it down, loop a section, and repeat until it clicks.

4. Climb the Top

A clean run from start to finish posts your score to the Top. You collect points, earn a producer rank (from Bronze to Diamond), and can share a score card on social media.

5. Play your way

From your keyboard, the on-screen pads (mouse or touch), or a MIDI controller. The sound is generated in the browser — no files, no installs.
